What's CE certificate?
Conformité Européenne (CE) certification is a regulatory standard that verifies certain products are safe for sale and use in the European Economic Area (EEA). So if need CE certificate, it should has Europe standard, such as EN-71, EMC, ROHS....etc
What's EC document?
EC was called an 'EC Declaration of Conformity'. Basically, the declaration is a one-page letter or document in which the manufacturer specifies which EU CE marking directives and standards his product complies with.It means it’s just a signed document that no need testing.
What's the different CE and EC?
CE certificate only can be offered when the sample tested, it means it surely should have CE test report which worked by laboratory as their test data.
EC document just a paper manufacture signed for it, to notify everyone this product is satisfied CE requests. It’s workable even there is not CE certificate (some products don’t have standard such as package box, plastic...), it’s free.
What's the CE marking?
Manufacturers use CE markings to indicate that a product complies with European Union (EU) regulations and directives regarding health, safety and environmental protections. It means manufacturer can use it if their products satisfied the regulation, no matter have certificate or not.
