Q4 Restock from China: How to Plan Your Black Friday and Christmas Shipments

2026.08.27

August Is Not a Quiet Month for European Sellers

If you sell on Amazon Europe, Shopify, or any platform that peaks in November and December, August is one of the most important months of the year. It is the last realistic window to confirm your China orders if you want to land stock before Black Friday and Christmas.

Do the Math

Here is the realistic timeline for a China-to-Europe order in Q4:

  • Production: 2-4 weeks
  • Sea shipping China to Europe: 4-6 weeks
  • Customs clearance and last-mile delivery: 1-2 weeks

Add them up. If you need stock for Black Friday (late November), your order needs to be confirmed by mid-September at the latest. For Christmas, you have until early October.

The Same Mistake Every Year

Every year, we see the same pattern. In October and November, buyers reach out asking for Christmas stock. By then, sea shipping has run out of time. Their only options are:

  • Pay significantly more for air freight
  • Miss the season entirely and wait until Q1

Neither outcome is good for business.

What You Should Do Now

If you have not started your Q4 sourcing yet, here is a checklist:

  • Lock down your product list and quantities
  • Confirm factory capacity and lead times
  • Decide between sea and air (sea is cheaper but slower)
  • Plan customs paperwork for EU countries
  • Coordinate Amazon FBA shipments so they arrive before October 31

How We Can Help

If you are sourcing from China and need to move fast, this is what we do. We work with Amazon sellers and European brands to source products, run quality checks, handle OEM and private label, and ship to FBA warehouses or your own warehouses. We speak Spanish, English, and Chinese, so you talk directly to the team in Yiwu, not to a sales rep who just forwards messages.

If you have a Q4 restock that needs to move, let us talk before mid-September.
